Bronx Cheerleader “Art of Dancing”
Here’s an older music video from 2006 that deserves a second glance. It’s from director Diego Maclean for the Toronto band Bronx Cheerleader. Having full creative freedom to create whatever he could come up with, Maclean shot dancers on green screen and composited it all together in After Effects using a number of what he calls “simple tricks” in this homage to Vancouver. I like the concept and how they implemented it. They even managed to avoid the danger of becoming repetitous with such a concept.
I like the song too :o)
