Digital Kitchen Out For “True Blood”

Digital Kitchen really sunk their teeth into this title sequence for HBO’s newest show “True Blood”. Along with enthusiastically blending visuals of religion, sex and vampirism, the DK team also rendered an original font using hand tools and an exacto knife based on road signage from the deep South. someone compiled a list of more plagiarism, beyond the obvious baptism scene. looks like the digital kitchen has run fresh out of ideas or direction. too bad, some of the older work was really fresh.

ugh more jealousy…..no plagarism you goofball. I assume you are talking about the documentary Wrong Eyed Jesus and if you researched the way Digital Kitchen made this, they pay homage to that documentary. Plus not to mention the fact that you “plagiarism” nuts are hung up on maybe what 4 out of 65 shots in the title sequence. I would have to say go away and come back when you have a legitimate gripe. Why not go on the Digital Kitchen website (like anyone who actually wanted to find out how they made it WOULD DO instead of just making wild accusations) and check out the True Blood project page. They have posted something called a “Case Study” which takes you with them through the ENTIRE process they went through to make the title sequence. Now if someone ripped something off do you think they would do that? Probably not. Crawl back under your rock, troll.

@anti-dom
so which DK office do you work for?
CHI? SEA? LA? i hope not NY, as i’m fairly sure they’re going to be closing it soon.
cheers, and good luck on your upcoming boards. i’m sure they’re going to be sweet and have a lot of “homage” in them.
