Yes, the spot is an extension of the ground-breaking Michael Mann/ThreeLeggedLegs effort from 2008 but MassMarket does a solid job of extending the look while pushing the cars, stadium, track and “light monsters” all into 3D. Jeffrey Dates, animation director, MassMarket: “The objective of moving the cars to CG was to allow more flexibility in creating camera angles, and provide cost efficiencies.
