Postma: Kinderpostzegels 2009

Can’t say I really understand what this clip is for but I love the extreme minimalism of the characters, the slinky motion, the palette and the music.

Here’s what we got in the email from Paul Postma at Postma Graphics & Motion in Amsterdam, “We like to submit the film Kinderpostzegels 2009 (Stripes for Stamps) for Stash publication. The film is made to stimulate the on-line stamp sales and is animated translation of the stamp’s illustrations made by Dutch illustrator Christian Borslap.”

The Designs and the Animation is for an organization “Kinder Postzegels” “Children Stamps”. Every Year they release Postal stamps based around a children theme, children go door to door to sell them (and they make a big amount of money) and the money is for organizations that involve children, school/education, children rights etc.

very cool project! nice design and animation!

    Cheers,
