Animation and VFX projects took center stage at the Cannes Lions this past week:
Chipotle “Back to the Start,” Nexus director Johnny Kelly’s stop-motion mini-masterwork, capped its award season dominance by nabbing the Grand Prix in both the Film and Branded Entertainment categories.
Film Craft Grand Prix: Canal+ “Bear,” with captivating and flawless VFX by Mikros image.
Gold Lion: The Guardian “Three Little Pigs” directed by Rattling Stick’s Ringan Ledwidge with VFX, motion graphics, and 3D tweaks by The Mill.
