The 1.4 Awards of Brilliant Filmmaking celebrates outstanding short-form filmmaking across 13 categories and three levels of experience: In the Making (up to 1 year of experience), On The Cusp (1-4 years) and Flying High (established directors).
As well as categories focusing on Music Video, Short Film, Commercial, Branded Content and Documentary, there are specific categories for CGI/Animation, Dance, Fashion, Sport, Humor, Planet Positive, and Personal Projects.
All entries are reviewed by our global Jury of top creatives, commissioners and content creators.

All long-listed work is featured on the 1.4 site for our global audience to watch. All shortlisted work and Silver and Gold winners are showcased at our Awards event at London’s BFI Southbank on April 29 in front of an audience of 450 industry professionals.
