Vagrants Appoints Paul Muhlbach EP of Partnerships

From the release:

Vagrants is expanding with the appointment of Paul Muhlbach as executive producer, partnerships. Based in Los Angeles, Muhlbach will lead national business development, building relationships with brands and agencies and expanding the studio’s bicoastal presence.

The expansion builds on Vagrants’ evolution into a full-service creative partner, with recent integrated campaigns for CarGurus and the City of Boston demonstrating its ability to lead projects from concept through final production. With creative, production, and post under one roof, the studio is expanding its role in brand storytelling, developing original concepts and entertainment-driven work alongside its established commercial production business.

“Our clients are looking for a creative partner who’s in it with them from the first conversation,” said Dustin Devlin, founder and chief creative officer of Vagrants. “That’s exactly what Paul does best. He gets in early, helps brands and agency partners find direction, and makes sure we never lose it on the way to the screen.”

Muhlbach brings more than a decade of experience in production, branded content and creative partnerships. He spent five years as a brand partner executive producer at Stept Studios, helping build its brand-direct business during a period of significant growth. His background includes roles at SixTwentySix, Stink Studios, Crispin Porter Bogusky and, most recently, Bully Pulpit International. Notable brands that Muhlbach has worked with include Amazon, The North Face, Salomon and Riot Games.

At Vagrants, Muhlbach will strengthen relationships with brands and agencies nationwide, grow Vagrants’ network of directors and creative collaborators, and identify opportunities for the studio to engage earlier in the creative development process.
