The 2014 VIEW Conference in Turin, Italy just put out it’s call for entries for short films made from 2013 to 2014 with 2D/3D animation or VFX. Categories include Best Short, Best Design, Best Character and Best Digital Visual Effects. Grand prize winners take home €2,000 (US$2,700). [Watch]

The Mill enthrones Heather Fullerton as the new Managing Director of its 180-person New York office. A former partner at StrawberryFrog in Amsterdam and founding MD of the agency’s NY office and a former EVP at McCann Erickson, Fullerton replaces Alistair Thompson who moved into a global business development role.
