London, Tuesday 21st January – Cinelab London announced today the full-time appointment of Joce Capper in the key position of Creative Director/Strategic Business Development. Cinelab London is Europe’s most comprehensive film laboratory and facility providing the widest range of film and digital services.

Joce has over 25 years of experience managing and growing Post Production and VFX companies most notably as Managing Director of Rushes over the past 20 years. Joce puts her success down to creative passion and her innovative and open approach in the leadership of talent, staff and new technologies. These natural skills, combined with her resourceful understanding of the scalable processes needed to meet budgets and timescales have seen her play a huge part in delivering countless multi-award-winning projects for leading brands and clients across the advertising, music, entertainment and feature film sectors during her career.

Since the closure of Rushes, Joce has spent the last 18 months management consulting for Supernova Heights. This role has enabled her to work across multiple companies in the media industry including Cinelab London. Now, she will take up her role full-time.

Joce comments: ”I’ve learned a huge amount about myself in the last year, how much I enjoy the creative industries, being involved in productions with creative staff is key to my happiness. I am self-motivated, but I need to be part of a friendly and talented team, be somewhere I can make a difference and believe wholeheartedly in what the company is offering.”

Joce will work with the Executive Management and Sales teams to continue to grow the profile of Cinelab London, its client base and its international reach. Part of her remit will also be to help educate the industry and the next generation of Filmmakers on the skills and craft needed when shooting on film. Cinelab London has been a driving force in re-energizing the use of film and busting common misconceptions of working in the medium, as well as the development of the restoration, archiving and digital post-production departments.

Joce adds: “I’ve loved being involved with film again. Working with the team to see how we can develop Cinelab London‘s services further has been motivating, we all share a passion for great filmmaking, all have a strong vision and a sense of humour. It makes each day interesting and fun”.

Adrian Bull, Co-founder, and CEO of Cinelab London, adds: “I have known Joce for many years, previously working with her in operational and corporate roles at Ascent Media and Deluxe Entertainment. Cinelab London is a team of genuinely dedicated, talented, committed and friendly specialists, Joce is certainly that.
