Mill+ Adds Daniel Ryan to Its Directorial Roster
From the release:
Having been in the industry for nearly a decade, Daniel Ryan is a well-established director in the Chicago market. In the last couple of years, he’s continued to push the boundaries of directing and frequently works at the intersection of technology and storytelling.
Daniel has directed a range of projects from projection-mapped spots for Neutrogena to docu-style pieces for brands like Wrigley’s 5 Gum, to music-driven films for artists the likes of Regina Spektor and Interpol. He has been recognized by several awards, most notably by the Clios, Webby’s and SXSW.
Most recently, he completed two fully immersive films for a large-format, ten-screen video installation on display on the ceiling canopy at 900 N Michigan Shops, one of downtown Chicago’s most luxurious and popular malls.
Daniel comments, “I am excited to join the global directorial roster at Mill+. Their diverse body of work and the incredibly talented team at The Mill feels like an excellent fit. I look forward to bringing visual narratives to life for different brands, institutions and artists as part of the Mill+.”
Executive Producer for Mill+ Brian Smego adds “Daniel is someone who’s been on our radar for a while now and we are very excited to have him join our roster. He’s a multi-faceted director whose work spans many different styles and deliverables. We’re excited to see how his talents continue to grow backed by the artistry of The Mill.”
