Nexus Studios Signs Directing Trio Coup de Foudre to Commercial Roster

From the release:

Nexus Studios is excited to welcome directors Coup de Foudre to its commercial roster. True to their name, Coup de Foudre’s work is striking, immediate, and impossible to ignore. Composed of Swann Valenza, Florian Maurice, and Teo Frantz, the trio brings a contemporary, cinematic approach to 3D, consistently pushing the boundaries of the medium.

The directors met at MoPA in France, where their collaborations quickly gained recognition. Their projects include Emmy-nominated work for The New York Times, as well as
award-winning short films honoured with Student BAFTAs and Student Academy Awards, SIGGRAPH accolades, and dozens of festival selections.

Whether crafting the heartwarming, tactile 3D landscapes of Provence in the award-winning Après Papi or pioneering technical innovations in Le Bruit du Silence — where they scanned and mapped live-action eyes onto 3D models to achieve a striking human depth — Coup de Foudre pairs meticulous attention to detail with bold
experimentation.

With a practice that blends visual and technical mastery, Coup de Foudre finds a natural home at Nexus Studios, where creatives and technologists collaborate closely to bring ambitious ideas to life.
