A vibrant, psychedelic image reminiscent of Miles Aldridge’s bold style: a person with wavy blond hair and bright makeup, shown with a multiple exposure effect creating three overlapping, colorful faces, all laughing joyfully under vivid red and pink lighting. Frame from Stash Magazine article.

BlinkInk Signs Lea Turner, Dave Fox, and Miles Aldridge to Directing Roster

From the release:

BlinkInk signs Lea Turner, Dave Fox, and Miles Aldridge to directing roster.

Lea Turner

Lea Turner came to directing via copywriting, a route that gave her a sharp instinct for narrative economy that’s very much still present in her films. Trained in commercial directing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, she has built a body of work spanning commercials, short films and music videos. Her films have been recognised at some of the industry’s most respected platforms, including the Young Director Award, Ciclope and the New Creators’ Showcase at Cannes.

Lea brings a distinctly cinematic eye and a refined visual sensibility to UK advertising, underpinned by a talent for drawing out authentic, naturalistic performances. A director as comfortable with visual craft as she is with character, Lea is a fresh, compelling choice for brands with something real to say.

Dave Fox

Hailing from Dublin, Dave Fox is an outstanding new talent who is known for his instinctive feel for character. His work is packed with offbeat personalities, richly imagined worlds, and a sharp, visual sense of comedy.

He’s directed campaigns for global brands including Cobra, Puma, and Pepsi, earning recognition from ICAD and the YDA. Alongside this, his short films have screened and picked up awards at festivals worldwide.

With a bold comedic voice and a love of the unexpected, Dave is one of the most distinctive comedy directors to emerge in recent years.

Miles Aldridge

A master of ‘Technicolor Noir’, Miles Aldridge joins Blink with a world-renowned reputation for creating cinematic, hyper-chromatic narratives that sit at the intersection of high fashion and surrealist art.

Originally trained in illustration at Central Saint Martins and seasoned as a music video director, Aldridge’s commercial work is defined by a rigorous, Hitchcockian precision. His meticulously staged frames often subverting 1950s Americana with a dark, witty edge have graced the pages of Vogue and The New York Times, while his filmic eye has made him a premier choice for luxury brands seeking a bold, provocative visual identity.

With work held in permanent collections at the V&A and the National Portrait Gallery, Aldridge brings a seductive, gallery-grade sophistication and glamour to the world of commercials.
