The Dark and Distant Future: Jeongmin Seo Drops “Reminder” Short Film

There’s a dark art to building dystopian futures that look and feel like cool places to visit. Seoul-based CG motion designer Jeongmin Seo makes his Stash debut with a personal project called “Reminder” that does just that.

Jeongmin Seo: In the distant future, humanity has continued to advance its technology without limits. However, endless technological progress eventually led to conflict and war, transforming Earth into a planet no longer fit for human life.

Restoring the devastated planet would take far too long, and humanity soon found itself on the brink of extinction. To prevent the end of mankind, researchers launched ‘PROJECT REMINDER’, designed to preserve all of humanity’s knowledge, memories, and history.
