Okay Studio has announced the addition of award-winning flame artist and ad industry stalwart Bevis Jones to their team as VFX Supervisor and Head of Post. With his many years of experience at MPC, as well as The Mill and Smoke & Mirrors, Jones bolsters the end-to-end offering at Okay.

Jones brings with him an impressive history of work, leading jobs for directors including Kim Gehrig, Matthijs van Heijningen, Dougal Wilson, Dom&Nic, and Adam Berg. He’s also worked on top-tier brands such as Apple, Samsung, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Ford, and Marks & Spencer. Having led the VFX on such acclaimed work as Marks & Spencer ‘Christmas Fairies’, Honda ‘Stepping’ and the award-winning O2 ‘Be More Dog’ campaign, Jones will be lending his trusted eye to the accomplished line-up of editors and colorists, solidifying Okay Studio’s standing in the London post-production scene.

Executive Producer Madeline Chapman comments: “We’re really happy Bevis has joined us. It’s an exciting time for OKAY, and I’m looking forward to working closely with him to further develop our capabilities for our growing client base. Not only is Bevis a creative and technically excellent artist, he’s also bursting with ideas and has already made a huge impact on the rest of the team. A great kick-start to 2021!”

Co-founder and MD Nikolaj Belzer adds: “We are incredibly excited that after working with us on a number of projects, Bevis has decided to join us full time. It’s a testament to the fantastic work the team has been putting out these last two years to be able to welcome a talent of his caliber. Bevis has been working on the best and biggest campaigns throughout the last decade and it makes us very proud that he has come to lead the finishing team. His keen eye, years of experience, and amazing creative skillset will push our post department further as we continue to take on a growing number of new and exciting new projects”.

Bevis Jones comments: “I’m so excited to be joining the fantastic team at Okay Studio. The end-to-end setup they have developed is brilliant, and it’ll be great to help shape the evolution of the VFX and finishing side, especially at this pivotal moment in time where there is such a demand for a more tailored and personal approach to post. I can’t wait to get to work on more projects alongside such a talented bunch and foster new creative relationships, internally and externally.”
