Emmy-Winning Motion Designer Joe Skoniecki Joins Pennant

From the release:

Pennant Video Co., the mid-funnel video marketing studio, has hired Emmy-winning motion graphics designer Joe Skoniecki as Motion Graphics Designer.

Skoniecki joins Pennant from Klaviyo and brings more than a decade of experience spanning motion design, animation, branded content, and creative storytelling. Before Klaviyo, he spent seven years agency-side and also worked as a freelance animator and motion designer across commercial, editorial, and documentary projects.

His work has been recognized with an Emmy Award and spans campaigns and creative projects across major brands, agencies, and entertainment properties. He most recently contributed motion graphics to the documentary Your Attention Please for Pennant’s sister company, Vagrants, which premiered at SXSW and screened at the Independent Film Festival Boston.

“Joe brings the rare combination of technical excellence, creative curiosity and genuine generosity that makes a lasting impact on both the work and the people around him,” said Tim Bradley, Pennant Cofounder. “As Pennant continues to grow its motion practice and deepen our role as a strategic creative partner for brands, Joe felt like a natural addition to the team.”

At Pennant, Skoniecki will support the studio’s growing slate of mid-funnel marketing, animation, and motion-driven storytelling work while helping expand Pennant’s presence within the broader motion design community.

“I was looking for a place where creativity, education, and community still matter,” said Skoniecki. “Pennant has built a reputation not just for the quality of the work, but for the way the team shows up for each other and for the creative community. That was incredibly compelling to me.”

Pennant has become known within the motion graphics and B2B marketing space for its focus on strategic storytelling, educational content, and design systems tailored to the mid-funnel stage of marketing. The studio regularly shares insights, creative process work, and thought leadership around motion design, animation, and video strategy.

Outside of client work, Skoniecki is known for his personal illustration and animation projects, as well as his interests in gaming, endurance running, taekwondo, and marine life advocacy.
