Ouchhh Erects AI DATAMONOLITH Installation for Future and the Arts Exhibition

From the team at new media agency Ouchhh in Istanbul: “What would happen if the consciousness of the world’s most ancient data and AI come together for hybrid architectural public art?

“By using a generative adversarial network (GAN) and AI algorithms, we created a new data monolith for the ‘Future and the Arts: AI, Robotics, Cities, Life – How Humanity Will Live Tomorrow’ Exhibition.

“The sculpture is meant to learn from Göbekli Tepe, a Neolithic archaeological site in the Anatolia Region of Turkey dated to between c. 9500 and 8000 BCE.

“Encompassing both the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, this area gave birth to the first cities, states, bureaucracy, and written communication in history. In other words, Göbeklitepe is, in many ways, the epicenter of history.”
