The Roos Brothers & REACTIV Rev Up the H2 for Kawasaki

Greenpoint Pictures directors The Roos Brothers (Josh and Logan) merge atmosphere and adrenaline in this intro for Kawasaki’s supercharged Teryx H2 UTV with motion design and post treatments from Toronto studio REACTIV.

Alon Isocianu, CD at REACTIV: “The Roos Brothers wanted to create military-style classified documentation that is disrupted by an alien-like ‘transmission hack’. We took this brief and developed an approach and aesthetic that felt simultaneously digital and analog.

“We also designed and animated supers and CGI particle simulations, along with custom digital artifacting and glitching. These digital graphics, combined with the live-action footage, were then processed through an analog video synthesizer, re-photographed off a physical CRT TV screen, and brought back into the edit. This created an authentic analog effect that is seen throughout the film.”
