Never Stop Candy Bang is the new raw and unfiltered podcast diving deep into the worlds of film, sound, and storytelling. Each month, visionary animator/ director Pete Candeland (Gorillaz, LAIKA, Netflix) teams up with sound design innovator Sophie Sound (aka Sophie Kuebler) to talk on Never Stop Candy Bang.

Together, Pete and Sophie bring their unique perspectives and their candid honesty to the mic where guests like Michael Gracey, Malcom Venville, Onnalee Blank
and other creatives, industry artists and friends spill the real stories behind the scenes of the entertainment industry. The show blends candid storytelling with deep dives into the artistry and challenges of making something new all while celebrating the passions that keep creatives “still trying.”

“We’ve had so many conversations about the industry, our projects, and the difficult truth that… we haven’t made it yet,” says Pete. “But what we have created is a life full of creative attempts.”

“It’s always interesting, at times chaotic, but brutally honest,” says Sophie. “We wanted to make a space where we could celebrate both the triumphs andthe struggles of making art.”

Pete Candeland has spent over 20 years shaping iconic visuals, from Gorillaz music videos to projects with The Beatles, and most recently directing groundbreaking filmmaking work.

Sophie Sound began her career producing Boiler Room events, curating radio shows, and creating vibrant nightlife experiences in Mexico City before moving into scriptwriting and sound design for commercial film and TV.
