Coming to Grips With the Logitec MX Master 4 Mouse

Working thru US prodco Skale.solutions, CD Aleksandr Grishin and CG artist Mikhail Zeynalov layer up a gripping (sorry) brand film for a highly ergonomic Logitec mouse built for precision coding and creative workflows.

Aleksandr Grishin: “The MX Master 4 was engineered around the human hand and that became the core idea. So we mapped the hand as an engineering reference — every overlay, coordinate, and trace line reflects the actual logic behind the grip design.

The whole shot list came down to two things, how it’s lit and how it’s framed. Hard contrast, deep negative space, the form defined by the light.

A lot of time went into testing scenes, angles and lighting setups before locking the final direction. In a few moments, the camera leans into subtle shake, sharp zoom-ins, and pull-backs, like an operator adjusting focus mid-shot, giving those frames a sense of being handled rather than rendered.

Instead of treating music and sound design as separate elements, we built them as a single system. The background music acts as part of the sound effects, while glitches, impacts, and frequency shifts add weight, texture, and rhythm to every scene.

Abstract digital artwork with geometric shapes, lines, and rectangles layered over a grayscale, curved object that resembles a Logitec MX Master 4 mouse or electronic device, creating a modern, fragmented composition. Frame from Stash Magazine article.

Two outstretched hands—one set against a black background and the other on white—are overlaid with digital dots and lines, evoking a striking contrast between organic form and digital precision. The composition subtly echoes the seamless control of a Logitec MX Master 4 mouse, where innovation bridges human touch with advanced technology. Text appears in the top left corner.
