Krystle Timm joins Carbon as Senior Producer

From the release:

Krystle Timm has joined creative studio Carbon as Senior Producer. Driven by working with great minds to bring ideas to life, Krystle brings a deep knowledge of the creative process with her to Carbon. She will collaborate with brands and agencies, as well as Carbon’s growing team of artists, designers, and directors across a diverse range of projects.

She joins from MPC and was previously at VFX boutique Smoke & Mirrors. In 2016, she moved from London to expand Smoke & Mirrors’ studio in New York and has had a NY zip code ever since. “Krystle is so experienced across all aspects of what we do, I’m very excited that she’s bringing her skills and team leadership to Carbon,” says the studio’s ECD Liam Chapple. “She’s perfectly placed to work with our designers on the projects we concept and direct here at Carbon, as well as complicated VFX productions for our clients and partners.”

“I love the fresh approach that Carbon brings to each piece of work.” Krystle explains, “I take huge pride in every project I do. For me, it’s all about the people I work with; everyone in the team heading towards the same goal of making something fabulous. From the energy of the pitch to watching people’s faces light up in the room (or Zoom!) when the film starts to come together, I want everyone to enjoy the process. Seeing all that hard work within the finished film is always a very proud moment for me.”

With over a decade of experience in the industry, Krystle’s work includes campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Mitsubishi, and Spotify. She adds, “I love variation. I will crave a massive full CG spot, then next I’ll want to work on a beauty/fashion film or a design piece. I can’t wait to be a part of Carbon’s creative productions, use my experience to help mold the process and see it grow. At the core of it all, my focus is on giving our clients that confidence from pitch to delivery, and to feel fully supported throughout the project.”

Krystle’s love of variety has seen her work range from large-scale, VFX-heavy holiday campaigns for Tiffany & Co. to an underwater music video for Nicki Minaj and short films for Adidas.
