Framestore Expands Senior Design Talent Roster in London

Multi-award-winning creative studio Framestore has announced a series of senior appointments to its Design Studio, welcoming Executive Creative Director Ric Comline, Executive Producer Thierry Levy, and Creative Director Sean Cooper.

The trio will be based in London, with an initial focus on expanding and strengthening Framestore’s Design offering across Advertising and Brand, while continuing to support global Episodic, Immersive, and Film work. The appointments mark a creative reunion for the three, who previously collaborated on the Cannes Lions-winning campaign ‘The Old Piccadilly Lights’ for Anomaly and Ocean Outdoor.

Ric Comline founded animation and motion design studio Blind Pig in 2009, and brings over two decades of experience spanning animation, VFX, motion design, and emerging technologies. Known for blending traditional artistry with cutting-edge AI-assisted workflows, Ric has led multidisciplinary teams in crafting distinctive campaigns for Issey Miyake, Disney, Adidas, and the UK Government. His internationally recognized work, which includes projects awarded at Cannes Lions, highlights his commitment to pushing the boundaries of visual communication while keeping storytelling and human design firmly at the center.

Thierry Levy has built a diverse career spanning more than 20 years across production, post-production and animation, and brings a wealth of experience from studios including Nexus, Feed Me Light and Spring Studios. Known for combining strategic thinking with hands-on creative execution, Thierry recently led the integration of AI in animation and VFX at Absolute. His notable recent work includes Disney’s collaboration with F1 for the Las Vegas Sphere, Coca-Cola’s immersive Piccadilly Circus takeover, and The Glass Hermit, a short film directed by Oscar-winning art director Shona Heath.

Sean Cooper’s experience includes pivotal roles at Blind Pig, Unit TV and Sony Computer Entertainment. With expertise spanning 3D, Motion, OOH, Film & TV and experiential design, his high-profile projects include the iconic PlayStation franchises ‘LittleBigPlanet’, ‘SingStar’ and ‘DanceStar’, alongside premium broadcast and streaming content, including ‘Stephen Hawking: Expedition New Earth’ and the acclaimed opening titles for Netflix’s ‘Maniac’.
