UK director/designer/composer Clive Collier’s latest passion project takes us into deep space with a mysterious and immensely ambitious 10-minute teaser for a longer-form project called Black Sun.

Currently the head of the Motion Graphics department at AMC Networks, Collier completed the film on his own over the course of four years, handling all creative and production duties including music and sound design.

Clive Collier: “A deep space mission seeking a new home for humankind. During its long voyage, a malfunction forces one of the crew to wake up from cryo-sleep.

“During the years alone, he develops the mind and abilities of the onboard AI system but is unaware of the extent of her awakening. But does she hold the answers to save humankind or the means to finish our existence?”
