Blinkink Welcomes Director/Animator Quentin Baillieux to the Roster
From the release:
A beautifully illustrative animation style meets cinematic storytelling, Quentin Baillieux is a stellar addition to the Blinkink roster. The France-based director has had his work described by Short Of The Week as ‘having stunning visual execution, with shot after shot being wonderfully composed.’
His work has amassed universal recognition, winning multiple awards, Vimeo staff picks, and festival success including an Oscar-qualifying win at St. Louis International for his short film ‘Le Mans 1955’ which reflects on the tragic race that resulted in the deaths of 83 spectators. Quentin wanted to evoke ‘The tendency of man to destroy itself, forgetting its humanity while being consumed by its pride, its passion and feelings is the subject on which I wanted to delve into.’
We look forward to seeing how Quentin’s skills as a filmmaker transition into the advertising world.
