One refreshing result of the rise of AI in production is the push back. Specifically, returning to “craft” or in the case of these fab spots from Uncommon Creative Studio for Chinese automaker Omoda, capturing all the magic in-camera.
Nils Leonard, co-founder at Uncommon: “This isn’t just showcasing the Omoda cars and their features it’s also a launch of this brand in the UK and a new body language.
“In an age of AI and a category driving the same CG cars around the same AI bends we made the truest, most remarkable work we could.”
“The idea behind all of this is ‘Everything’ isn’t a nice to have, its essential. So we produced the work the way Omoda produce their cars, leaving nothing out, placing everything into the production process and the films and images we made.
“In an age of AI and a category driving the same CG cars around the same AI bends we made the truest, most remarkable work we could. Everything and endeavor of craft, designed to stop thumbs and steal attention.”
