“Girl in the Spider’s Web” Main Title Sequence

Elastic creative directors Lisa Bolan and Nadia Tzuo opened Sony Pictures’ “Girl in the Spider’s Web” with inky, sinister CG to create “metaphor and abstract visual language to hint at the main character’s untold history.”

“Following the mysterious disappearance of the little girl in the prologue, the main title sequence depicts how the cruel society shaped her personality, and how she weaponized herself with survival skills as she transformed from a synthesized flower into a thorny dragon.”
