Studio Grackle, a virtual traditional animation studio founded by Spencer Wan, jumped onto the Stash radar this week with their debut project, a whiplash trailer for Hades, the action role-playing game from Supergiant Games.

Wan, who dropped out of the School of Visual Arts in New York and has since earned a string of impressive industry credits including animation director on adult anime series Castlevania, describes the studio’s style as “combining the best parts of Eastern and Western animation.”
