Jeff Low & Tobias Fouracre Wrangle a Vast Cast for Telstra

Revolver director Jeff Low teams with stop-motion maven Tobias Fouracre (Isle of Dogs, Fantastic Mr Fox) on 26 mini-episodes of low-key comedy for Australian teleco Telstra thru agencies Bear Meets Eagle On Fire and +61.

From the team at Bear Meets Eagle On Fire: “While it’s widely known that Telstra has the biggest and most reliable mobile network in Australia, it’s a constant challenge to find new and surprising ways to share that story. Historically, this was approached with more rational messages, but for this brief, Telstra asked us to find a more engaging and memorable solution.

“The result is an ambitious campaign focusing on specific locations around Australia and the idiosyncratic characters who live there and benefit from better coverage. Cast from a variety of Australians, the characters come to life as everything from father and son krills and blokey wattle flowers, to larping Tasmanian devils and teenage goth cockatoos.”
