Manu Mazzaro & Sauvage Surrender to Andalusian Magic

Roma director Manu Mazzaro and Sauvage animation director Ernest Desumbila merge 3D, live-action, motion capture, and AI into the single most ambitious and un-touristy tourism film you may ever witness.

Designed to attract younger audiences and in production for more than six months, this latest chapter of the Andalusian Tourism Crush campaign (titled The Surrender), was produced thru Ogilvy Spain, scored by Hans Zimmer, and premiered at San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026.

Juan P. Moreno and Javier Senovilla, ECDs at Ogilvy Spain: This project leaves a bittersweet taste for several reasons. On the one hand, because it is a kind of farewell to the Andalusian Crush campaign, but during all this time we worked with a freedom and creative ambition that, in today’s advertising industry, seem to be in danger of extinction.
