Take a Peek at BUCK’s First Game “Let’s! Revolution!”

Launched July 19, Let’s! Revolution! is the first original game from animation/design powerhouse BUCK – described by the studio as a “mashup of deductive tile-flipping reminiscent of Minesweeper and tactical turn-based strategy.”

BUCK AD Emily Suvanvej: “I’ve always loved the idea of presenting bleak and dismal concepts in colorful and bright packages. In dreaming up the art style of Let’s! Revolution!, we took inspiration from the weird, playful, and whimsical vibes of Katamari Damacy, Studio Ghibli, and Moebius. From the squishy character animations to the UI and even sound design, there’s a bubbliness to the whole game that feels cheeky and playful.”

From the team at BUCK: “Let’s! Revolution! is set in the Kingdom of Beebom, a once-idyllic land, now mired by a vain and despotic King. The people have had enough. The time has come for revolution! Players embark on a perilous journey facing off against the King’s deadly minions and gearing up with powerful items and abilities for a final showdown with the King himself.

“Each playable character hails from a unique region beset with trouble caused by the odious King. The design and mechanics of the heroes reflect their culture and require a vastly different strategy for success, giving the game a surprising amount of depth given the accessible board-game-inspired core mechanics.”
