The Tokyo-based CG motion innovators at Onesal, whose work we track here, just dropped us their latest, an appropriately pristine launch film for a new Panasonic electric toothbrush.
From Onesal: “We collaborated with Panasonic and BBmedia to create the launch film for Doltz, a toothbrush re-imagined as a refined device for advanced gum care. The film translates the product’s vibration, flow, and touch into a visual experience that captures both its precision and its quiet sophistication.
“From the earliest stages, we explored how to make technology feel sensory. Our team worked on simulations and motion studies that could convey vibration as rhythm and emotion. We also took the product apart, drawing inspiration from the engineering details that define Panasonic’s design language.
“The result is a film that makes the unseen technology visible and emotionally resonant, introducing the product not just as a tool but as an embodiment of care, innovation, and the art of precision.”
“These explorations became the foundation for a visual language that communicates energy and delicacy in equal measure. With water and soft particles in motion, we portrayed the dynamic quality of the W Sonic Vibration technology as something tangible: a gentle force expressed through fluid movement.
“Set within a calm, white environment, the film highlights the distinctive Doltz Green, a tone symbolizing renewal and clarity. Each surface and motion was treated to feel intentional and balanced, echoing the precision at the core of the product’s design.
“The result is a film that makes the unseen technology visible and emotionally resonant, introducing the product not just as a tool but as an embodiment of care, innovation, and the art of precision.
“While the final film focuses on clean, minimal aesthetics, these explorations were part of a broader R&D process, where we experimented with motion, texture, and behavior to understand how the product could feel. From those studies, only what truly reflected the brand’s sense of care and precision was carried into the final piece.”
