Starting with a visual by Montreal-based illustrator Justyna Stasik, the design and animation team at BUCK transform a list of Samsung Galaxy smartphone features into “colorful chaos, curious characters, and whimsical surprises.”

From BUCK: “Instead of walking viewers through the features one by one, we brought them to life through metaphor and magic. That meant letting the features speak through the story in a world rich with color, packed with personality, and designed to turn the humble QR code into a portal.

“Surreal vignettes weave Galaxy’s tools into the action: a giant paintbrush reveals the Galaxy Themes tool, skydiving characters edit photos mid-fall, and a camper playing guitar showcases the nightography and audio eraser tools.

“Our audio partner Sonar laid down the SFX first, giving us a beat to animate to. The result is a walkthrough that’s weird, playful, and way more fun than it has any right to be.”
