Flatbush Zombies “Afterlife” Music Video by Arnaud Bresson

Paris animation/VFX studio Machine Molle and Division director Arnaud Bresson create a riveting (and convincing) X-ray vision peek into the life and times of Brooklyn rap trio Flatbush Zombies.

Arnaud Bresson: “Today, there is no technology that can X-ray a living being without endangering it, so we worked hand in hand with [Machine Molle] to develop a technique that would allow us to achieve a similar effect.

“We used multi-camera tracking, recorded the positions and movements of our characters to extract and apply to our 3D compositions. It took four months of work to find the perfect style.”

Note: The live-action footage was shot in Paris prior to the pandemic.
