“Helping Hands” Animated Short by Oliver Sin

Director/animator/illustrator Oliver Sin in Cheltenham, U.K.: “‘Helping Hands is the first film under my studio name Good Sin.

“The hands involved a bunch of weird gripping mechanics that you just don’t do with normal hands so I had to think of creative ways to have them hold onto random objects.

“Trying to keep the bordering and hands consistent was a challenge – having the restriction of the borders but also the overlapping worked well as a style but it became tricky to keep certain elements within and others outside.”
