This year’s edition of Savannah College of Art and Design’s CoMotion conference opened with this title sequence which anchored a full branding package of 100+ deliverables designed and produced by a team of 40 students.

Kyle Switzer, SCAD student and co-CD of the 2024 branding: “Every year, two students are awarded the opportunity to rebrand the CoMotion event. They are in charge of recruiting and leading a team of students over a 6-month timeframe. This is done all without the help of faculty, running on close to a $0 budget. This year, alongside my good friend Muskaan Sethi, we were awarded this opportunity.

“For this year’s title sequence, our focus was on prioritizing the concept and theme of nature over any singular style. We often reduce nature’s beauty to its color — the vibrance of nature being the muse to artists like van Gogh and Monet. In contrast to this, we embraced a black and white branding package, stripping away the veneer of color, allowing the viewer to focus solely on the systematic beauty of nature’s design.”
