Yujin Song Puts on the Kettle (Beautifully)

The stream of top-shelf CG motion projects coming out of VDAS (Visual Design & Art School) in Seoul continues with this Zen-influenced student work for a premium electric kettle by Japanese brand Balmuda directed and animated by Yujin Song.

Yujin Song: “The Balmuda MoonKettle reinterprets the functional beauty of traditional kettles through a modern perspective. Its restrained silhouette blends seamlessly into the space, adding a sculptural presence as a refined object.

“By harmonizing the elegance of traditional tools, modern minimalism, and the emotional depth of Japanese wabi-sabi, this project aims to express the atmosphere and philosophy of MoonKettle through 3D visual storytelling.”
