Chromosphere Reflects on Un-Reality With New Short Film “Yuki’s Daydream”

Founder/director Kevin Dart and his design and animation team at Chromosphere transplant the star of their Yuki 7 web series into a light and clever real-time simulation training video using Unreal Engine.

Made possible with funding from Epic Megagrants and released to coincide with the launch of the second season of Yuki 7, the project, which the studio calls “a short film reflecting on our studio’s animation process in Unreal” takes Yuki through a series of rendering styles while offering peeks at the UI controlling her look and environments.
