Matt Gilligan’s “Toilet in a Gallery”

In 1917, as the horrors of the WWI unfolded, Marcel Duchamp changed the art world forever when he anonymously submitted a urinal entitled “Fountain” to a juried art exhibition in New York City.

Now, 100 years later, Vancouver motion designer Matt Gilligan attempts to give the episode some context with his mini-essay “Toilet in a Gallery” powered by a fabulous VO from Blindboy Boatclub (aka Dave Chambers) one half of Irish comedy hip-hop duo The Rubberbandits.
