Clim Studio, whose playful Roger & Gallet films we featured in Stash 166, extends that light tone into absurdist comedy with this in-house project built around their belief that in motion design, “ideas must have a seat at the table”.
From the team at Clim Studio: “We have a sit-uation: CG has become the best friend of product visualization but while these projects are visually stunning, they often lack a strong conceptual foundation. As the industry grows and the technical possibilities for creating breathtaking visuals expand, we believe it’s essential to keep ideas at the core of what we do.
“With this film, we’re bringing the spotlight back to the importance of ideas — reminding our clients that great design isn’t just about the surface; it’s the concept behind it that truly matters.”
“We are passionate about design, elegance, and beauty but our true love lies in creativity and compelling concepts. Nobjects is our way of saying that we must use ideas as the human connector for anything — even for products that don’t exist or make no logical sense.
“We’ve returned to storytelling in its purest form, crafting a piece that’s fun, quirky, and explores narrative and cinematic language to create humor, absurdity, and drama. With this film, we’re bringing the spotlight back to the importance of ideas — reminding our clients that great design isn’t just about the surface; it’s the concept behind it that truly matters.”
