Comedy and Chaos Collide in “Branch of the Month” Short Film by Or Drori

Tel-Aviv motion designer, animator, and VFX artist Or Drori: “This short film is a product of an animation hub where the brief was to animate a Jerusalem-based object. I picked the oldest branch of McDonald’s in the city center and wrote a story about it.

“Some of the challenges I had to overcome were cramming a very detailed story into a three-minute format and finding ways of creating a sense of space since we weren’t allowed to shoot inside McDonald’s. So I had to mix motion graphics, animation, and CG together.”
