The in-house motion team at Wix transforms the task of building a website into an organic extension of the designer’s personality in this new product film for Wix harmony, the brand’s AI website builder.
Elior Karmani, motion design lead at Wix Motion Studio: “This is part of a new series of Wix Harmony videos, each built around a different persona, business, and creative journey – in this case, Angelica, a fictional streetwear designer with a bold, gothic, and highly expressive visual world.
“We wanted to explore creation as something personal: not only building a website, but shaping a full identity through color, tone, imagery, products, and design decisions. The prompts in the film are treated not only as functional inputs, but as part of Angelica’s voice and creative thinking.
“The film borrows from the product experience and translates it into a more cinematic language, creating one continuous flow between the story, the brand, and the platform.”
“The challenge was to let the product support her story rather than simply demonstrate it, while still keeping the platform and its value clear. We wanted the product to feel embedded in Angelica’s world, not placed beside it.

“In certain key moments, generated footage helped us create visual solutions that supported the story and expanded the world of the film, always guided by clear art direction and refined through animation, compositing, and post-production.
“Ultimately, the brief challenged us to create a human and cinematic film, while still communicating the value of the platform. By following Angelica’s creative process, the film turns the act of building a website into a story about identity, creation, and personal vision.”
