Piranha Bar on How Not to Wake Up Dead

I can’t understand a word this gravel-voiced veteran mining canary says or sings but the lighting and rendering are impressive.

According to Piranha Bar CD Gavin Kelly in Dublin, the film “was a massive undertaking, with each frame ringing in at over five hours of computer time. That’s 5000 hours by the way. Let’s call it 200 days for convenience, even though there’s really nothing convenient about that figure.”

“The feathers were a challenging mix of defined feather structures and 300,000 fine downy hairs which are all fitted carefully around his face.”
