Often blurring the line between art and message, studios and marketers continue to expand their use of brand films (produced primarily for online, social, and out of home viewing), taking full advantage of the genre’s freedom of format and style.
We were honored to publish all of these projects in The Stash Permanent Collection during 2025. They are listed here in reverse chronological order by their issue of publication.

Chapman Bullock, CD/founder at Proper in Austin, Texas: “Our first brief from the client read ‘For the first time ever, AG1 will be available in flavored alternatives including Tropical, Berry, and Citrus. How do we represent these flavors visually?’
“One of the creative challenges was ensuring viewers didn’t assume each AG1 flavor was a different colored drink. AG1 is always the same signature green. To emphasize this, we made the clear bottle filled with the green beverage the visual hero as it moved through various scenes—reinforcing that the color remains consistent across all flavors.”

Daniele Gavatorta, director at Nerdo Studio in Turin, Italy: “This project was born from a simple but powerful idea: we’re all born barefoot. And being barefoot means being free – respecting the natural shape that Mother Nature gave our feet.
VivoBarefoot is a bold brand that decided to team up with an equally bold agency, Thingy&Thingy, UK. They reached out with a clear statement: ‘we don’t want a f**ing commercial’.”
Issue: STASH 173
Virgile Machala and Maria Markova, producers at Eddy in Paris: “Van Rysel needed a bold, unconventional film to launch their new RCR-F INFERNO capsule, a line of high-performance cycling gear.
“The goal was double: present their most advanced bike in action, and deliver a sensory, visceral experience that would resonate with cyclists. Instead of following traditional premium codes, they asked for something more instinctive, more physical, something that could embody speed, pressure, and obsession.
Issue: STASH 172
Alex Mikhaylov, CD at Loop in Lisbon, Portugal: “This film captures Bella+Canvas’ intricate cutting-edge production process from cotton balls to stitched garments, resulting in highly detailed and nuanced animations.
“The task was to elevate a highly technical process into something visually compelling and design-driven.”
Issue: STASH 171
Belén Palos, EP at Six N. Five in Barcelona: “For the second consecutive year, agency Publicis Luxe and production company Prodigious France asked us to create the Cartier brand film for display at the Watches & Wonders trade show.
“Their need was to portray 18 of their iconic watches in a poetic short film that encapsulates the ethos of the brand.”
Issue: STASH 170
Romain Delaunay (Director) and Andrea Boulay (Producer) at le truc in Satigny, Switzerland: “This collaboration blends our creative expertise and Devialet’s passion for precision to craft a sound experience that feels limitless.
“One creative challenge was to bring sound to life by crafting a limitless, elevating sensorial experience that introduces a new dimension of sound for the Astra Opéra de Paris.”
Issue: STASH 169
Roberto Connolly, EP at NotReal in Buenos Aires: “As a world leader in premium entertainment electronics, Vizio wanted to showcase the unparalleled picture quality of their TVs in a way that truly captivates.
“They aimed to create a dynamic and versatile film that transcends the standard high-resolution demonstration – one that reflects creativity, sophistication, and innovation.”
