FLATMIND Showcases “A World of Beauty” in Shanghai

FLATMIND, a full-service prodco with studios in Italy and China, just danced onto the Stash radar with this massive LED installation for The Italian Cultural Institute of Shanghai called “A World of Beauty”.

Carlotta Godio, GM at FLATMIND: “We were commissioned by the Pudong Museum of Art of Shanghai to create a promotional animation for the exhibition ‘Masterpieces from the National Archaeological Museum of Naples’, with the aim to celebrate the union of ancient marbles with modernity.

“The existing graphic design and display design were created by Aldo Cibic and Joseph Dejardin of Cibic Workshop. We decided to animate the main sculpture by making it dance. The challenge was to create something that would fit the museum’s two massive screens, which are Shanghai’s largest outdoor LED wall.”
