London Grammar “Baby It’s You” Music Video by Trizz
This enigmatic and otherworldly blend of CG, VFX, and live-action footage from Oriol Puig and the Trizz crew for English pop masters London Grammar will keep you guessing as to what’s what, and what it all means.
Director Oriol Puig at Trizz in Barcelona: “I’m a huge fan of Hannah Reid and London Grammar and we sought to provide them with something truly outstanding.
“Complementing this beautifully deep song, we devised a world shaped with inward reflection, rebirth, symbolism, and introspection – and a slightly apocalyptic vibe.
“This premise defined the overall style as we approached the project. From our conversations with London Grammar, there was a strong sense that an inner, intimate journey is resonating at the core of this love song.
“The idea of the panther emerged from a representation of darker undertones. A panther in some cultures is a portal to other dimensions; our apocalyptic image. As it wanders in an enchanted forest the forest echoes our subconscious, a place that although dark, is full of mysterious life forces lurking in its corners.
“There’s also counterbalance, an uplifting and feminine call out to Hanna’s voice. Everything flows together with existentialism and she ultimately emerges stronger, as does the panther when it is freed.
“Although the images are dark and haunting at times, the creative mindset was focused on the spiritual tone and the resonance permeating throughout the song.”
