From Duke & Duck, a remote content studio based in Washington D.C.: “Our friends at agency Reingold, reached out to us for an animated PSA commissioned by The Virginia Department of Health detailing the safety and importance of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“With our walking, talking Covid-19 vaccine vial and some friends, we used 2D character animation to set the record straight, and encourage people in Virginia and beyond to ‘move forward and get vaccinated!’

“With special appearances by characters like George Washington, and viral immunologist Dr. Corbett, we utilized a design aesthetic that hearkens back to the charm of vintage educational videos to spread the word about the long history of vaccines.

“This video evolved as new information on the vaccine was being released, so we worked to make sure our facts were accurate and represented up-to-date data, such as the availability of pediatric vaccines.”
