Michel Gondry and Moz The Monster for John Lewis Christmas 2017

In his first outing for the highly-anticipated annual John Lewis Christmas spot, Oscar-winner Michel Gondry teams with UK practical model/creature makers Millenium FX to craft a 7-foot monster named Moz, with The Mill handling 3D/2D post.

Michel Gondry: “When I told my ex girlfriend I was doing the next John Lewis Christmas film she said: ‘You have big shoes to fill, this John Lewis commercial must make people cry, don’t forget’. Last week I showed it to her and she cried. Phew.”

Previous John Lewis Christmas ads featured on Stash:
