Persistent Peril Stage “Dance Battle” for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Producer Sam Bourner at UK animation and illustration studio Persistent Peril: “We were honored to help tell the story of Elizabeth Garcia, a 9-year-old leukemia survivor (and serious hip hop fan), depicting her fight against leukemia as a dance battle.

“The animation is part of an online fundraising campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

“We created the film in just a few short weeks, collaborating closely with McCann Health’s IGNITE team, which is designed to bring young and diverse creative talent into the industry.

“The animation was brought to life with wonderful sound design by James Locke-Hart, and a bespoke hip hop track created by The Salt House Studio.”
