“Press Enter” Experimental Short Film by Almir Nago

Almir Nago, a Paris-based art director, motion designer, and member of the eka.studio collective, takes us into a glitchy, enigmatic, and unpredictable virtual world via his new passion project called “Press Enter.”

Almir Nago: “The film explores the notion of digital technology through a network that invades urban space, but also raises the question of artificial intelligence and its impact on reality.

“With inspirations from 1970s science fiction art, mangas, and video game aesthetic, experimentation was part of the design process. The result is a hybrid style mixing 3D with colorful and non-realistic toon shading.

The project took a lot of time to set up. The most challenging part was to create consistency between the different parts of the project.”
