In there latest campaign for Rabbit’s r1 handheld AI assistant, the CG motion team at Styleframe keep the unit’s striking product design centered while getting up close and personal with the tactility of it features.
Robin Volk, managing director at Styleframe in Frankfurt: “For this project, we developed a design-driven CG approach that reimagines the r1 within a bold, fashion-inspired visual world. The hero film and accompanying stills position the r1 not just as a piece of technology, but as a cultural object.
“The goal was not to overpower the device with CG, but to build a world that elevated its personality while keeping the product at the center of attention.”
“One key challenge was finding the right balance between high-fashion visual language and clear product storytelling. The rabbit r1 already has a very distinctive identity, so the goal was not to overpower the device with CG, but to build a world that elevated its personality while keeping the product at the center of attention.
“From a technical perspective, one of the biggest challenges was recreating the r1 with an extremely high level of material accuracy. Since the product has a very unique design, even the smallest surface details became important in close-up shots.
“Another important aspect was ensuring consistency between the hero film and the campaign stills. Since the project was developed as a multi-format campaign, assets and scenes had to work seamlessly across motion, high-resolution stills, and social adaptations.”
