Serial Cut Toys With Tokyo Street Lamps in Three Short Films

In a playful and surreal series of three CG short films, founder/CD Sergio del Puerto and the crew at Serial Cut in Madrid re-imagine the form and feeling of select Tokyo street lamps punctuated by bursts of jazz-fueled abstraction.

Sergio del Puerto: “These animations portray the street lamps in settings outside of Tokyo’s urban landscape, creating a striking and surprising contrast. They offer a glimpse into a parallel reality intertwined with the captivating sounds of jazz.”
